I didn’t even know Cobra Kai was renewed and had resumed production, let alone had several episodes coming up. Looking forward to them putting an end to the evil karate dojo once and for all. What a weird premise.

I sense a couple of big deaths and returns to shake things up for The Boys’ fifth and final season. Read more

- Though it might have been hyperbole, how could Ambrosia “smell Sage all over” Deep from the aquarium inside his closet? Read more

The show has been spinning its wheels a bit this season, but I don’t really mind. It probably could have been a four season show but there’s enough good stuff this season to justify its existence. I really love Neuman and how she’s like a super chill villain. Read more

I'd really love to see footage of her in the recording booth screaming out all her dying cries of agony. You can tell she absolutely had a blast.  Read more

I’m still clinging to the notion that much of the wheel spinning this season is just to put things in place for the final season. But that also means I’m not expecting anything particularly revelatory for the last episode. I’m pretty dead sure that plots like Ryan, or Billy’s tumour thing will carry on. Read more

Love this show. And as the dad in this scenario, I’m wondering... do I remember what happened on it? Read more

They did a pretty great job with the actor they got for Young John Lighgow too. Read more

Looking forward to this. More shared scenes with Bridges and Lithgow will be welcome. (They didn’t get much screen time together till the last episode of season 1.0 Read more

Your dad’s favorite TV show is that Yellowstone show, which is inexplicably not about the national park. This is good though. The actor they found to play Young Jeff Bridges looks nothing like the young Jeff Bridges, but a lot like the old Jeff Bridges could have looked, if you didn’t remember what he actually did. Disappointing to not see any What We Do In The Shadows news, but I’m taking that to mean they’re taking their time make the final season extra special

I’m not convinced we’ve seen Sister Sage’s end game yet. I think she is very good at emulating whoever she’s speaking to and saying things to manipulate them. I could be wrong, but my assumption is her brain will take just a little bit longer to heal from a gunshot wound than her improvised lobotomies. Read more

A shame what they did to Sage. The only silver lining is that the actor playing her seems game for the shift. She’s really funny!

I’m surprised at the pearl-clutching re: the Tek Knight sequence. Sure, in real life, being Dougie under these circumstances would have been horrifically traumatic. But it’s The Boys! I Read more

Now playing

As soon as I saw Web Weaver’s webhole, I immediately went to look up the first appearance of his comics counterpart, which was in The Boys: Dear Becky #1 “Saturday”, June 2020. He’s a ripoff of The Venture Bros’ Brown Widow, played by Nathan Fillion. Brown Widow first appeared in season 4, episode 13, originally aired

I was wondering how long it takes Sage’s brain to regenerate after her self-lobotomies. When she is back to her usual brain function, will she remember her showdown with Milk? Did she see him collapse? She must have noticed him on the ground because she left the room before A-train arrived. She knows he is the leak. Read more

Is there a point to any of the madness besides the show trying to make our jaws drop?: Read more

-Sage stated in the last episode if not the one right before that her brain is the only organ in her body that could completely regenerate. So she’s not going anywhere, just out of commission for a bit. Read more

I think I’ve just straight-up lost interest in The Boys; nothing is shocking anymore, the satire is way too on the nose, and I’m finding myself being completely disinterest in most of the characters Read more
