The biggies
Land Of Women (Apple TV+, Wednesday, 12:01 a.m.)
Based on Sandra Barneda’s novel, the charming comedic thriller Land Of Women is led by Eva Longoria, Victoria Bazua, and the legendary Spanish actor Carmen Maura. In the six-episode first season, Gala Scott (Longoria) flees with her mother and teen daughter to their ancestral hometown in Spain after her husband’s financial schemes backfire. While avoiding notorious goons, the trio reckons with family secrets and hopes for a fresh start. Land Of Women premieres with two installments, with the remaining four airing weekly. Look for The A.V. Club’s review on Monday.
The Bear (FX on Hulu, Thursday, 12:01 a.m.)
It’s time to whip out your best “yes, chef!” impressions because The Bear is back. In season three, Carmy (Jeremy Allen White), Sydney (Ayo Edebiri), Richie (Ebon Moss-Bachrach), & Co. adapt to running that fancy new titular restaurant. FX is keeping most details about the new batch under wraps, but at least the cast, including Lisa Colón-Zayas, Marcus Boyle, Abby Elliott, and Matty Matheson, is returning. FX’s award-winning comedy drops all 10 episodes on June 27, and The A.V. Club will recap all of them.
Hidden gems

The cast includes Edward Bluemel, Jordan Peters, Dominic Cooper, and Jim Broadbent. The A.V. Club’s review publishes on Wednesday.
