After Problemista’s success, the writer-director-star is back with a new comedy called Fantasmas, in which he goes on a search through New York City for a golden oyster earring. Expect a bunch of cool cameos by the likes of Kate Berlant, Aidy Bryant, Bowen Yang, Paul Dano, Emma Stone, Alexa Demie, and Steve Buscemi. Check out The A.V. Queenie | Official Trailer | Hulu

Hulu, Friday, 12:01 a.m.: Based on Candice Carty-Williams’ novel of the same name, Queenie centers on Queenie Jenkins (Dionne Brown), a 25-year-old woman in South London who struggles to figure out her life after a messy breakup. Samuel Adewunmi, Tilly Keeper, Bellah, Sally Phillips, and Jon Pointing round out the cast. Here’s a bit from The A.V. Club’s review:

We’ve come a long way from the rom-com days of perfect pretty ladies falling down until someday finding a savior boyfriend. Bad things happen to Queenie, but her dignity remains intact and she is always taken seriously, even when her negative cognition (“no one wants me”) gets the better of her.
